In their enthusiasm to be the next Rocky too many beginners buy the wrong boxing equipment. Sadly it ends up in that big pile of stuff to collected in the next community clean up.


So let’s get started with three quick tips to choose the right boxing equipment so you can get fighting fit at home Cheap Nike Air Max 1 , in the gym or anywhere.


Tip 1 – Wrap your Hands


While a punching bag may not hit back, they have still bruised plenty of knuckles, wrists and hands. That’s why you need to wrap up.

Always use handwraps under your gloves. Handwraps are long cloth bandages. I prefer the elasticized type – which only cost around $10. They stabilize the joints, give a tighter fit and reduce friction. It’s like a well-fitting pair of running shoes versus going for a jog in sandals.


Remember that cotton under gloves are not handwraps. Under gloves smell-proof your hands but don’t offer much support.


Tip 2 – Choose the Right Gloves


In a nutshell, there are two types: Bag Gloves and Boxing Gloves.

Things to Consider for Punching Bags:


Choose a Punching Bag that is about half your body weight. Hanging bags are usually cheaper than free standing, but involve some handy work to install. Make sure it’s not rock hard. Have plenty of space, so you can move around.

These are mainly for reflexes and hand speed. It’s only when you get good, that speedbags can give you a sweat. You don’t get to really sink your punches in or practice your combos, and it’s quite a bit of work to set up a platform for it.

NAIROBI, March 9 (Xinhua)--Kenyans are plotting a new scheme to ensure they win the World half marathon Cheap Air Max 95 , which will be held in Cardiff, Wales on March 26.


Defending champion Geoffrey Kipsang Kamworor will team up with Bedan Karoki in their bid to sweep the medal table the event, but will have to contend with Britain's Mo Farah, the man who has dominated the long distance running.


"It is good that we will be meeting with Farah again," Kamworor said on Wednesday from Eldoret.


"I had a good plan for the World Championships in Beijing Cheap Air Max 90 , but we missed out in the last stages and I hope we have what it takes to cover up."


Kamworor is leading Kenya team which also has Karoki, Edwin Kiptoo and Jonathan Maiyo. Renowned marathon champion Catherine Ndereba will be the team coach. She will be assisted by Kenneth Tanui.


Kamworor said they will come up with a new trick that will ensure their rivals burn out. Kenya team will depart next week for Cardiff.


"Kenya has always done well in this competition and we look forward to doing just that. But everyone will be out to beat us and that is why we have named a strong squad, capable of weathering any kind of opposition. They have competed in their individual capacity in big city marathons and proved their point," said Jack Tuwei, Athletics Kenya President.


But though Kenya has maintained a strong grip on the event Cheap Air Max , the decision by Farah to debut in the 21km distance will certainly change the equation. Farah leads a 10-strong British team for the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships in Cardiff.


"I am looking forward to running on the British team in Cardiff. It will be my first time to compete at this Championship but I have been training hard and hope to perform well," Farah said.


Farah is joined on the men's team by Dewi Griffiths, Callum Hawkins, Matty Hynes and Ryan McLeod.
