(AP) — The New York Giants have a new right side of their offensive line.Two months after acquiring right guard Kevin Zeitler in a trade with the Cleveland Browns, the Giants found a new right tackle Tuesday, signing veteran free agent Mike Remmers.Contract details were not immediately available for the 30-year-old, who has started all 71 regular-season and postseason games in which he’s played the previous five seasons.Remmers spent the previous two years with the Vikings, starting all 16 games in 2018 at right guard. He also played right tackle and left guard during his tenure in Minnesota.Remmers has ties to Giants coach Pat Shurmur and general manager Dave Gettleman. Shurmur was the Vikings’ offensive coordinator in Remmers’ first season in Minnesota. Gettleman was his general manager in three seasons with Carolina.Remmers will compete with incumbent Chad Wheeler for the right tackle job Zach Brown Jersey , but the early speculation is that he will end up as the starter.Remmers entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Denver in 2012. Of his 64 regular-season starts, he has 34 at right tackle, 17 at right guard and 13 at left guard. In the postseason, he has five starts at right tackle and two at left guard.The Giants also signed free agent defensive end Freedom Akinmoladun from Nebraska. Akinmoladun attended the team’s recent rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. Kicker Joey Slye of Virginia Tech, whom the Giants signed last week after the rookie minicamp Devin Bush Jersey , was waived.The Giants also waived rookie defensive back Jacob Thienemen, who hurt his knee in the minicamp. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with outside linebacker D’Andre Walker and linebacker David Long Diontae Johnson Jersey , the first of their six draft picks to get contracts.The Titans also announced Thursday they have agreed to terms with 12 undrafted free agents a day before starting a three-day rookie minicamp.Walker was their fifth-round selection at No. 168 overall, and he played 41 games at Georgia where he had 13½ sacks for his career with five forced fumbles.The 188th pick overall in the sixth round, Long was a three-year starter at West Virginia and Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in his final season. He had 252 tackles, 40 tackles for loss and 14 sacks in his career.The Titans stocked up on undrafted free agents from Power 5 conferences with the exception of a pair of Football Championship Subdivision players in defensive tackle Isaiah Mack of Chattanooga and linebacker Derick Roberson of Sam Houston State.The others include running back Alex Barnes of Kansas State and nose tackle Braxton Hoyett who played alongside Tennessee’s top draft pick Jeffery Simmons at Mississippi State.
