According to the statement, investment bank Goldman Sachs Group will replace Bank of America Corp., credit card company Visa will replace tech company Hewlett-Packard Co. and sportswear company Nike will replace aluminum giant Alcoa Inc. in the blue-chip Dow after the close of trading on Sept. 20, the statement said.


"The changes will be effective with the opening of trading on Monday, Sept. 23," the statement said.


"The index changes were prompted by the low stock price of the three companies slated for removal and the Index Committee's desire to diversify the sector and industry group representation of the Index Cheap Portugal Soccer Jerseys ," the statement noted.


However, "the changes won't cause any disruption in the level of the Index," S&P Dow Jones Indices stressed in the statement. "The divisor used to calculate the Dow from its components' prices on their respective home exchanges will be changed prior to the opening on Sept. 23," it added.
